Senior year is a milestone that goes by way too fast. It’s full of adventure, big decisions, huge life changes and unforgettable connections. Like most things in life, it doesn’t feel like much when you’re in the thick of it. When you look back, you learn how much it really shapes you. One of my favorite parts of the senior rep program is seeing how much my spokesmodels grow and learn throughout that year.
Unlike a normal senior session, I have the opportunity to maintain a relationship with spokesmodels throughout their entire senior year. Our first event is the meet and greet at our spring kickoff party! I want this experience to be special and memorable, so this year I enlisted the help of some amazingly talented local vendors and together we put on the perfect cozy movie night for our team to relax, and celebrate the start of their senior year!
This year’s kickoff took place at one of my favorite local venues, Harvest Moon Pond. Their patio space is so inviting and was the perfect hang out. Team members were able to play bags, eat pizza, sit by the fire and get to know one another. Ash and Arrow took the event to the next level with their outdoor movie loungers and boho picnic set up. Alysha has an eye for detail and completed her set up with a grazing platter from Prairie Boards. I am not joking when I say that was so Instaworthy we almost couldn’t eat it. In true Wisconsin fashion though, one nibble of that cheese and we couldn’t stop!
We spent the next few hours taking senior pictures and hanging out. As the sun set, the team kicked back with their own personal grazing boats, cozy loungers and fuzzy blankets. They curled up for a classic Disney movie while the moms sat by the fire swapping stories and enjoying each-other’s company.
If I had to describe my rep team to someone in 10 seconds I would say “it’s the best way to make the most out of your senior portrait experience!” My senior team is located in the Madison area, but we accept applicants from all over Wisconsin if they are willing to travel. This year, we had team members coming from nearly two hours away! Why? Because it’s special. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Seriously, just see for yourself!
