Senior Session | Token Creek | DeForest, WI
Senior Spokesmodel, Hannah is filled with fun and talent. During her DeForest senior session she very casually mentioned to me that this summer she interned with NASA as the only student to be accepted from WI and one of the few females in the entire program! She’s also the Vice President of her FFA chapter, an incredible dancer, and a complete joy to be around. And can you believe she started this session nervous?
Hannah earned her spot on the senior rep team by blowing me away in her application. The questions are always pretty open ended so I love reading what each soon to be senior shares with me. In Hannah’s application she talked about her passion for dance, her love of learning, her commitment to various activities, who she is as a person and of course- her dogs!
Since she is so involved in her community, it was really important to Hannah to highlight some of those commitments in her senior session. She chose two of her favorites, dance and FFA. Hannah spent most of her session playfully teasing around with her dad in the background, and excitedly sharing with me all of her goals, dreams and ambitions. It was a light-hearted evening with silly dance moves, inside jokes, and a lot of joy overall. You can always tell when a senior really loves something, because the smiles in each photo are so much more natural. When she put on her dance uniform and started warming up for a few jumps- I don’t think she stopped smiling once.
Her confidence soared, and rather than prompting her and telling her what to do, she found her groove on her own- completely in her element. I was so impressed, but when I looked back over my shoulder at her Dad, there was no denying that he’s her number one fan. The pride and love he has for her, is something I think every kid wishes for in a parent, and I am so happy that Hannah has it. That kind of support, and her drive will take her anywhere she wants to go in life.
