As I write my final senior blog post for their year, I feel nothing but gratitude for this year’s team. The senior class of 2022 will always hold a special place in my heart, as they helped bring my vision for this program to life! The final blog for this class, features Brooke who also happened to be my very last senior session for the year so it seemed only fitting to save her feature until the very end.
In Brooke’s application she shared with me that she enjoys being busy, and exploring new things. She also explained that she is shy, and takes a little warming up before she’s comfortable enough to have fun, but that this makes her pretty easy going! I appreciated Brooke’s honesty, because truthfully- not everyone is a super bold and outgoing person, and that is WONDERFUL! The world needs both, and so does our spokesmodel team.
I remember watching the spokesmodels interact at our kickoff, and enjoying meeting everyone for the first time. I happened to catch out of the corner of my eye, Brooke inviting a model from another school in for a picture with her and her friends. It was such a small gesture, but it showed me so much about Brooke’s kindness and character. That model, Lizzi, happened to be our only Sun Prairie Rep, and Brooke made a point to introduce her to the Chilton gang and instantly welcome her. Those small moments matter, and I am so proud to have met a kind hearted individual who truly understands that.
Brooke choose a small park in Portage for her session. It was such a laid back and easy going session, and we spent most of our time just chit chatting and snapping photos in between. She wasn’t looking for anything overly busy, and she just enjoyed the natural beauty of the willow trees and greenery. Afterwards, we popped downtown for a few “urban” shots to make mom happy as well, but Brooke said that the willows we’re her favorite! We kept her session very casual, to fit her overall style!
