About the photoshoot
This year we welcomed the new group of senior models to the team with a “groovy grad” event at the Eloise, Mount Horeb! Featuring a DIY confetti popper bar, hand spun cotton candy, and a special surprise ending!
Have you ever heard of a senior model before? Sometimes referred to as a senior spokesmodel, senior representative or senior ambassador? These are all words I use to reference the teens in these group photos. Each year, I open senior model applications where current high school juniors can apply to be a part of an outgoing, well-rounded group. We meet a handful of times throughout the duration of their senior year, each time with a new theme and photo shoot. These styled events are designed with two goals in mind:
To make the most of senior year! This transitional time of life is super special and worth celebrating at every opportunity.
To give inspiration to others who want to plan an elevated event for teens.
This year, the senior model team kicked things off with a “Groovy Grad” party at the Eloise in Mount Horeb. They were greeted in the venue’s lofted space where they anxiously awaited to kick things off. Once all of our guests had arrived, we made our way outside and where they could re-enter the space through the patio doors. They walked in to find a set up designed entirely just for them to hang out, celebrate and have a good time. As they laughed and made their confetti poppers, and snacked on specialty lollipops and lemonade, the excitement about their senior year grew bigger and bigger. Just when they thought the day was coming to an end, we pulled out one last surprise- a vintage car!
Special thanks to our incredible team of vendors for helping us pull off such a groovy and cool event for our senior model team!
