If you are dreaming of a timeless, romantic, and playful spring wedding, let this be your inspiration! This shoot was a collaboration of local Madison Wedding Vendors with an incredible amount of talent (I’ll be sure to link them below)!
When I first met the owners of Harvest Moon Pond, Brian and Stephanie, I knew they we’re the kind of people that make the wedding industry a better place. The care they show their couples, and the love and energy they pour into their beautiful venue makes their space feel like something out of a fairytale. So when Stephanie reached out to work together I didn’t hesitate to say yes. We hopped on a call to go over what we wanted this shoot to feel like, and how we wanted it to inspire our couples. Soft, romantic, colorful, playful, candid, and elegant. We wanted it to be fun and timeless.
Growing the Vendor Team
We knew we needed help to nail down our vision, so we brought on Amy with Relax Event Planning. She handled the planning and design, and brought us “midwestern comfort with a level of class”. Her attention to detail was remarkable. She presented us with different textures and samples, and was full of ideas beyond our imagination. She was so helpful at guiding us toward the big picture, and troubleshooting every possible hiccup along the way.
Soon, Lisa from Sunborn Gardens joined the team. Her and Amy worked hard to dream up the beautiful hanging floral installation pictured below. Lisa spent all morning setting it up, and as each of us arrived to Harvest Moon Pond, we stopped to marvel at it’s whimsy. She is such an artist! While we were all singing her praises she remained humble and cool, and just smiled back letting us know how wonderful we all are. Her energy was exactly what I would have loved to have on my own wedding day.
Branch and Daughter created a grazing table that exceeded any other charcuterie board I’ve ever seen! Everything was so fresh, flavorful and beautifully curated. I had no idea salami could be so aesthetically pleasing. It’s the perfect way to feed a crowd. Of course we balanced the savory with some sweets from Baked Lab! His lavender macaroons were so dainty and perfect, which brought back a little whimsy to the food selection.
With the help of several others, this spring inspired shoot was brought to life. We we’re so excited to be published in this year’s issue of Wisconsin Bride Magazine, and hope that our couples find inspiration from it!
