Jake and Lauren’s wedding day was a perfect combination of elegance and good old fashioned fun. From the handmade signs and signature cocktails to the live band, everything about their day was perfectly coordinated and so enjoyable. Lauren planned every last detail, and together the two threw a party that will be remembered for years to come.
After getting ready with their closest friends, Jake and Lauren met for a first look where they chose to exchange vows privately with one another. Their words had us in literal tears. Though each had no idea what the other would say, they both highlighted similar parts of their relationship, and shared a theme of gratitude for the series of events that brought them one another. After snapping some beautiful portraits in the botanical garden, Jake and Lauren said “I do” in front of the sweetest little white chapel on the gorgeous grounds of Rondele Ranch. Afterwards, guests were greeted with Moscow Mules (my personal favorite) Old Fashioneds, ice cream sandwiches and nothing short of a good time. Jake and Lauren made their grand entrance to none other than, Jump Around- a perfect tribute to their time spent together at UW-Madison. After laughing and crying through the humorous and thoughtful speeches, guests danced the night away listening to The Cold Soda Club put on an amazing performance.
Jake and Lauren had patiently waited for one another and found each other at seemingly the perfect time. After seeing each other through undergrad, grad school, and long distance, it is evident that they are built to withstand whatever obstacles life throws their way. David and I are so happy that we were able to share in this special day with you. Cheers to the many years yet to come!
