Steve & Jamilee: Monte Bello Estate Wedding

If you want to learn how to throw a party, call the Jandicks. Their hosted bar sign said it all when it read “drinks are on us tonight, but the hangover’s on you tomorrow!” Standing alongside a wedding party of 20 loved ones- the pair went all out on FUN with their Monte Bello Estate Wedding.

The energy on the morning of the wedding was high! The girls wasted no time pouring beers and mimosas while jamming to their favorite music in the bridal suite. We got a preview of the evenings’ dance moves and they may have set the record for earliest wedding day twerk we’ve seen yet. Meanwhile the guys kept it a little more relaxed on the lower level as they took their time getting ready and prepped Steve for his first look.

While the wedding party was busy inside, another crew was working outside in the forest to bring their ceremony space to life! Dozens of potted hydrangeas were lined up with an absolutely breathtaking floral arch right in the center. It was the perfect spot and mother nature blessed us all with a beautiful overcast day! Guests greeted one another as they arrived on site with so much genuine excitement as they we’re reunited to celebrate Steve and Jamilee!

Following the ceremony was a surprise firework show that even the newlyweds hadn’t known about! Rumor has it, Jamilee’s Dad was the one who made that happen though he swore up and down during his speech he had “no idea”.

While our newlyweds wrapped up their formal portraits around the property, guests made their way towards the bistro lights for cocktail hour on the patio. It was the summer weather we all dream for with a light breeze and mild temps- keeping everyone happy until the reception space reveal which was absolutely worth the wait. Jamilee knows a thing or two about landscape architecture and the Monte Bello Estate complimented her love of that so well. With sage linens on the table and greenery tied into the ceiling fixtures, the whole space felt natural and whimsical.

Another key to a great party is great food, and the Estate delivered on that. Guests sat down for a decadent dinner service complete with a sweet triple layer cake at the end! They topped off their drinks and enjoyed speeches by Jamilee’s dad, sisters, matron of honor and Steve’s best man. Most of their toasts we’re comical, but there were a few moments of happy tears and appreciation for the love we celebrated that night.

The final piece to an epic evening is of course- a live band!! Their performers kept the party going as their night continued on with as much enthusiasm and energy as it started with. Guests danced the night away in celebration of the new Mr. and Mrs. Jandick!
