Senior Session with an American Bully | Token Creek | Deforest, WI
When Ally applied to be on the senior spokesmodel team, she spent a good portion of her application sharing about her love of dogs. Naturally, I was intrigued. She went on to share that she often helps her dad with the family business where she gets to work with dogs, and it’s also where she met her favorite baby- Bluezilla aka Blue. She mentioned from the start, wanting to include him in her senior session which was an absolute YES on my end!
Any time someone wants to include a dog in their session, I recommend a less busy and somewhat quiet spot so that the pups aren’t distracted or too stressed out. Token Creek is a perfect spot for a pet friendly senior session! In the case of Blue and Ally, I don’t think this mattered. We could have been anywhere and he would have had his eyes locked on her and only her the entire time. He followed her everywhere she went!
Her love for him was just the same. Each time we added him to the photos, her smile got brighter. I had to consciously tell myself to remember to snap a few without him too! Which was hard to do, because each time they were together they both seemed so much happier. They are bonded pair for sure, and I feel so lucky I got to capture it! My absolute favorite moment was when he rolled over for belly rubs, tongue hanging off to the side and she looked up at my camera at the perfect moment-mid giggle, seeming to be 100% in her element.
As the night when on, and we chatted more about the things she loved I enjoyed getting to see more of her personality poke through. As a three sport athlete and someone who enjoys volunteering, painting and spending time with her siblings in her free time, Ally is busy! So I’m really glad we got to spend a night focusing on her, and one of the things she loves most- her American Bully, Blue.
Thank you both for such a sweet night!
