Senior Photos | Token Creek | Deforest, WI
Last week I had the opportunity to photograph royalty. You’ll never believe it, but I had the QUEEN in front of my camera! Yes, the QUEEN. No, not Elizabeth. Isabelle, AKA the prom queen of Chilton High! Not only was she as sweet and adorable as you would imagine, but she also graced me with the presence of her miniature golden poodle, Zoey who was nothing short of a princess.
If you’re chuckling a bit to yourself right now you would have fit right in with us the other night. Her senior session was filled with giggles and smiles which was the perfect representation of her kind and joyful personality. Izzy was the first of the Senior Spokesmodels to have her photos taken this summer and our timing was perfect. We beat the heat (and most of the bugs) and wound up with dreamy, golden, light peaking through the trees and tall grasses at Token Creek!
We kept the evening lighthearted and fun by talking all about family vacations, summer concerts, and her low maintenance hair care routine. Her gorgeous brown locks had me contemplating dying my blonde hair for the rest of the night. My favorite part of her session though, was seeing the bond she shared with her dog Zoey. Everywhere Izzy walked, Zoey followed and each time Zoe joined her for a photo, Izzy’s smile seemed even more genuine than the last.
Senior photos are meant to highlight your confidence and unique self in this stage of life. I’m so grateful that Izzy joined the Spokesmodel team so that we have multiple opportunities to do that throughout her senior year. When she was applying for a spot on the team I had asked her to tell me more about herself, and one thing she wrote really stood out to me. She answered, “I want everyone in my life to be happy and I would do anything for the people I love.” That positive attitude and selflessness is not something you see in every 17 year old, and after meeting her I knew she absolutely meant it.
