As the youngest of three girls, Afton shared that she can be shy at first. Her quietness doesn’t stop her from caring about others though, and she aims to bring positive energy to those she’s around. When you get her warmed up, you might even catch a few jokes and a sprinkle of sarcasm too! Anything to make the people around her feel good! That genuine sweetness and desire to bring light into the world is what made her a perfect Senior Spokesmodel!
For her senior session Afton was most excited about having her hair and makeup professionally done, and taking photos that capture her real smile! She opted for a natural background, and chose a senior session in late summer- her favorite season! After spending the afternoon getting pampered by Sara Marie Artistry, Afton and her mom met me at Token Creek to start her session.
Afton brought the CUTEST fall color wardrobe. I loved it because I think it gave her the best of both worlds. She got all the warmth, sunshine and greenery of a late summer senior session, along with a gorgeous fall pallet. Nowhere in her spokesmodel did she mention being a fashionista (are people still saying that?), but I am convinced it’s her hidden talent.
We spent the rest of the evening chatting about dance, swimming, and everything else under the sun. Afton is so easy going and personable, I really don’t know what she was talking about when she claimed to be shy! As I showed her her pictures she would light up in excitement and gain a little more confidence and energy each time.
Afton, thank you so much for such a great night. The weather, your personality, those adorable earrings and perfect fall color wardrobe and everything in between made this such an easy and beautiful session! I cannot wait to see you again at our fall event, and in the meantime- if you ever consider becoming a stylist I’ll be here to cheer you on every step of the way!
